Summer days are long and 2020 is no exception! From beginning the summer family time early with homeschooling to the added juggling of work, health and parenting without summer activities and camps, this summer is long.... and extending with fall classes delayed and perhaps going online.

How have you been doing? Our race team members created a writing activity for their children to exercise their minds and to share the child's perspective of the sport of triathlon.

Below is a submission from 7-year-old Rachel and 3-year-old James. This athlete enjoyed the opportunity to engage with his children and share the fun things kids say with the all3sports triathlon community.

Rachel's Perspective of being a child of a triathlete

James' story of being a child of a triathlete

Do you have a child and looking for an educational activity? Below is a blank copy of this form which you can use with your children. If your children are older, have them write their perspective in a blog-style article. They can write from the vantage point of being a son or daughter of a triathlete or if they are in sports, they can write from the perspective of their athletic focus and achievements.

If you are willing to share, we would love to hear from you and your family. You may submit a comment below or submit articles to kristin<<at>>all3sports.com.
