Build the Ultimate Emergency Kit
Before you roll out, make sure your saddle bag is packed and ready. Whether you’re riding solo or with a group, a well-stocked seat pack can save the day when things go sideways on the road or trail. Here's your essential emergency kit checklist:

•   Saddle Bag – Small, secure and water-resistant. It all starts here, with a great bag like the Silca Seat Roll Asymmetrico.
•   Spare Tube – Yes, even if you’re running tubeless. Sealant fails sometimes.
•   Quick Link for Chain – Because broken chains happen. A must-have for longer rides.
•   CO₂ Inflator Kit or Mini Pump – Choose your inflation weapon. CO₂ is faster; pumps are endless.
•   Mini Tool – For adjusting bolts, fixing a dropped chain, or roadside tweaks.
•   Patch Kit – For when your spare tube isn't enough.
•   Tire Tool/Levers – Make removing stubborn tires easier.
•   $20 Bill ($10 if you're an Optimist) – For emergencies: Buy a drink, catch a cab or fold it up as a tire boot.

Bonus: Consider a spare derailleur hanger, valve core tool or tire plug kit if you ride in remote areas.
