The ENVE Fray has always stood apart as a bike that resists easy labels. It’s built for riders who want the efficiency of a performance machine with the flexibility to handle long endurance miles and mixed road conditions. Now it arrives in three new colorways that add fresh visual appeal to one of the most versatile platforms on the market.

The latest additions are Perfect Purple, British Racing Green and Clear Smoke. Each brings a distinct personality. Perfect Purple is bold and modern. British Racing Green nods to classic speed heritage. Clear Smoke offers a clean, understated finish. Together they expand the Fray’s appeal without changing the performance foundation beneath the paint.

Built for Real World Riding. The Fray was designed for cyclists who want one bike that can cover a wide range of terrain and riding styles. It blends aerodynamic shaping with endurance geometry, making it equally comfortable on long training days, fast group rides and unpredictable backroads.

Drawing from a race driven design philosophy, the frame balances speed and stability. Riders can push the pace when the road opens up, then settle into a steady rhythm when the route stretches into hours. The Fray encourages exploration without compromising efficiency.

Fit as a Performance Feature. Fit plays a central role in the Fray’s design. Rather than treating geometry as fixed and final, the platform allows riders to dial in position and handling.

Seven frame sizes and four fork rake options provide meaningful flexibility. Riders can fine tune front end feel and body position with precision. A la carte cockpit options, including handlebar, stem and seatpost selections, further expand customization. The result is a fixed geometry frame that still offers a high degree of personal adjustment.

Instead of forcing the rider to adapt, the Fray is built to support an optimized position from the start. For serious cyclists, that translates directly into comfort, power transfer and sustained speed.

The Fray was developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics and validated in the wind tunnel. Tube shapes were refined to work in harmony with SES rim profiles, maximizing aerodynamic benefit in realistic riding conditions.

An integrated front end keeps cables and brake hoses out of the wind, reducing drag while maintaining a streamlined appearance. Wind tunnel testing confirmed optimized performance at both 32 kph and 48 kph, speeds that reflect how dedicated cyclists actually ride.

The Fray shares design DNA with the Melee, a model known for its race focus. Where the Melee prioritizes pure competition, the Fray strikes a balance between performance and adaptability.

Aero tube profiles enhance efficiency, while generous tire clearance allows for wider tires. That added volume improves comfort, traction and confidence on rough pavement. The combination makes the Fray suitable for both high intensity rides and long days that extend beyond smooth tarmac.

Key features include aerodynamic efficiency paired with weight savings, tube profiles designed to complement SES rim shapes, a fully integrated front end and wind tunnel proven performance.
