For the past 2-years, we’ve packed up our van and headed down to Jekyll Island, GA for the Turtle Crawl Weekend, a set of races benefitting the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. We are excited to be sponsoring this race again in 2018 and hope you’ll join us.

Jekyll Island offers a perfect getaway or race weekend that the whole family can enjoy.

The weekend consists of two races on Saturday - a Sprint and Olympic Distance Triathlon - and two races on Sunday - a 5k and a 10k.

The course is fast and flat and even though it’s an ocean swim, the waters along the Georgia coast are often calm and ideal for a first ocean swim.

After the morning races, you can relax on the beach, take a casual bike ride around the island while exploring the driftwood beaches and historical sites, or enjoy some of the local cuisines.

On Saturday afternoon, Jekyll Island puts on a festival complete with a turtle release on the beach, a favorite for families with young children.

If you still have energy left-over, you can join in the Sunday morning 5k or 10k road race before heading to one of the local brunch spots.

You'll find the race to be well-organized, friendly for first-timers and lots of fun for vets and the venue to be perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway! If you're there, stop by and say hello!
