Q: Tell me about your luxury cycling tours in Europe… How can I join you?
A: When people ask me about our luxury cycling tours, I always smile, because this is the kind of experience every serious rider dreams about. In 2026, we’re headed back to Europe for two incredible weeks: one in Switzerland and one on the legendary climbs of Alpe d’Huez. By day, we’ll tackle iconic Alpine routes on BMC bikes fitted just for you and waiting overseas. By night, we’ll indulge in regional food, wine, and the kind of friendships and camaraderie that can only be forged on the road.
These trips are run through Aska Velo Travel, the company my wife Kelley and I started back in 2016 when we couldn’t find a happy medium between pricey “cycling vacations” and real overseas adventures. Over the years, we’ve fine-tuned the formula: unbelievable routes, luxury accommodations, world-class guides, curated cuisine, and a rider-to-guide ratio of 4:1 so every trip is built around your abilities. Once you land in Lyon, everything is all-inclusive—you just need to bring the fitness and the appetite for adventure.
Because these are demanding rides, not casual cruises, I personally screen every participant. You’ll need to call or email me directly so we can talk through your fitness and make sure you’ll thrive over the week. If you qualify, you’ll be part of a small group tackling some of the most famous climbs in the sport, supported every step of the way.
These aren’t just bike tours—they’re cultural immersions. Picture pedaling through breathtaking Alpine passes, rolling into charming towns, and unwinding each night with wine pairings, spa treatments, or even a post-ride massage. It’s luxury travel designed for people who live to ride, and I promise it will be one of the highlights of your cycling life.
We’re booking now for 2026, and spots are limited. If this sounds like your kind of adventure, call or email me (678.778.6426 or matt@askavelo.com).
