  1. Next time, have him prepare his answers for you. Forward him a standard list of questions other than softball stuff like: “You guys rock! How do you do it?”

Next time try something like: “Zipp is a wheel found on 25% of all professional triathletes’ bikes, your next closest competitor (in wheels) is Mavic at 10%, how do you guys plan to keep that market penetration? Is there anything exciting coming out soon? Why not?”

You guys are trying hard and I like it. Keep up the work.

Again, thanks for the great thoughts. We’ll hit them up with stuff like this next time we get a chance to film them.

  2. I would like to see Zipp’s design considerations for their carbon layup work. Nothing that would be proprietary, but some modern considerations they use that their competitors don’t.

    or

Ask them about clencher vs. tubular now and then. I’ve heard arguments for both and I understand that most new clinchers are almost as light as their tubular brothers. How much of that is true? Does Zipp still see a future in tubulars?

all3sportsTV - Good questions. The layup process is all proprietary, they would not let us film any of that. As for clincher and tubular, we’ll pose the question, but the debate still rages on.
