Transitioning from the pool to open water isn’t easy and being as prepared as you can be is important. With the Equip wetsuit you get a high performance package designed with open water swimming in mind. It’s more flexible, comfortable and high performing than earlier generations because it uses new 2mm panels of SCS-coated Yamamoto #39 cell neoprene through the upper half of the suit. These panels are designed to improve swimming position, relieving commonly stressed muscles new open water swimmers will inevitably have.
Buoyancy is also improved with panels of Smoothskin neoprene used throughout the back and lower torso. Pair that with the HydroStroke forearm panel that catches water during your pull phase of the stroke and you’ll know that you’re making the most of every stroke in the water.
